school History
The Academy began operations
in 2001-2002 with an enrollment of 211
offering grades K-5. The Academy has added an additional grade in
each year of operation
and expanded its grades until it became a K-8 grade school
in the year 2004-2005.
Background
Bay Pon, an
investment group from the Tri-Cities, purchased Visitation Elementary
School in July of 2001. Mosaica
Education
began leasing the facility from
Bay Pon and immediately established Bay County Public School Academy. Bay
County PSA opened its doors in September of 2001 with an enrollment of
211 and, in 2006, had 322 children enrolled.

Bay County Public School Academy is a Mosaica Education

The Academy is a three-story brick building
built in 1949. Structurally the building is in excellent condition
with over $900,000 invested in improvements. In 2002, safety
features were added for ease of evacuation and an elevator was
installed for accessibility.The building is
in total compliance with State and Federal
laws. |
